Indian Government Denies Google Street View

Google Street View is the street-level and 360-degree view of cities and popular tourist spots in Google maps, all over the world.

Google requested permission for Street View in Indian cities, But the government has denied permission to Google to cover India through its street view application due to security considerations.

Google will have to wait for a year before they could capture street-level images of the country’s cities as the government wants the pending Geospatial Information Regulation Bill to be enacted before considering the internet giant’s application a fresh. After that google street view in india will be available.
