Google Maps gets a high quality imagery update

From the imageries provided by Landsat 8 Google Maps reached its next level. Google improved the imagery to deliver more than 700 trillions individual pixels of data. In this update the images looks more sharper and cloud free. See the differences below

Google rolled out this update to public. You can access this service on Google’s all Mapping Products like Google Earth , Google Maps, also available on Earth Engine APIs.

This update happened because of Landsat 8 which was launched in 2013. Notably it captures images twice faster than its predecessor Landsat 7.
